It is a cafeteria run by a long-established dried-food store in Atami, and it is a popular restaurant that seats almost as soon as it opens. We ordered seafood bowl ¥ 2,000. Dried fish were selected from horse mackerel, sweetfish, pufferfish and flying fish, but the flying fish was selected. It is a well-known store of three-point platters of Isaki, tuna, and auriika, dried flying fish with excellent saltiness, and delicious cooked rice and long-established store. The other side dishes were also varied and delicious. It was impressive that the pot was delicious when the rice was delicious, but if it was greed, it would have been a bit more served with seafood. Next time, I would like to order "Izu Kinkaku", which the customers next door were calling to be delicious.

We went there for dinner and we ordered set menu. My friend took me there and I wish I read the menu ahead of time and ordered a la carte after seeing all the reviews. The set menu came with soy beans ( locally grown and amazing taste), tofu, Osuimono, sashimi, grilled fish, and Ni-Sakana. I really enjoyed soy beans which people probably think strange but their soy beans appear to be locally grown ones and very different from what you get at supermarket. I got Grilled Ayu which was good but a bit dry. Sashimi was amazing. Ni-Sakana was also a bit dry and I wish they had a bit more fatty fish. But after all Atami is more for older folks so people might prefer light fish. The only regret I had was they kept bringing food even before we are done with previous dish and I felt rushed. I am a super fast eater and I couldn’t even catch up. Overall great Atami food experience. You do need a reservation as they have only a few seats available.

Went here late on a Monday night, very nice dark ambience.I was all alone having a hearty dinner on the 1st day of the new Reiwa Era. Really good seafood dinner here. Small cozy counter seating that allows the professional Japanese chefs to prepare their finest fare before your eyes.Great selection of fresh seafood as well as cooked ones. Wasabi is also freshly grinded so you get that light green color and tingy taste.Would be awesome to try some Japanese sake here.
